I’m an ATP and Master Flight Instructor with Citation CE-500 series experience. My background includes single-engine land and sea airplanes and multiengine land airplanes.

Before agreeing to a trip, we review the aircraft, required crew, insurance, currency and operating requirements. Mentoring from the other seat and serving as the operating captain are different assignments.

Rates & Expenses

$1,500per calendar day

My pilot services, piston or turbine. Plus a $100 daily meal per diem and travel expenses.

The daily rate applies to every day reserved for your trip, including flying, standby, and travel days. A duty day over 14 hours is billed at 1.5 times the daily rate.

Travel expenses include mileage, rental cars, Ubers, hotels, airfare, parking, and other reasonable and necessary travel costs, including international crew expenses when applicable.

Aircraft expenses, including fuel, maintenance, landing fees, and other operating costs, remain the client’s responsibility.

If you need two pilots, we confirm each pilot’s role, availability and fees in writing before the trip.

I am committed to providing professional, well-prepared service with clear communication and sound judgment. I will treat your airplane as if it were my own and care for your passengers throughout the trip.

Compensation

Pilot services are billed at $1,500 per calendar day. Separately quoted training packages follow their stated inclusions; additional training days and personal-trip days use this daily rate. Any day reserved for an assignment is billable, whether spent flying, instructing, traveling, positioning, waiting during a layover, completing ground work, or managing delays and schedule changes.

Duty time begins upon departure from home or lodging for the trip and ends upon return. A duty day exceeding 14 hours is billed at 1.5 times the standard daily rate.

Expenses

The client covers all reasonable and necessary travel expenses, including mileage, rental cars, Ubers, hotels, airfare, parking fees, tolls, baggage fees, airline change fees, and other necessary travel costs. Airline tickets are booked refundable.

Approval will be requested before booking a hotel over $200 per night unless no reasonable, safe, and reputable option is available. Red-eye travel is not used.

Personal-vehicle mileage is billed at the current IRS standard business mileage rate.

A $100 per diem for meals applies per day.

Terms

Dates remain tentative until confirmed in writing. Once confirmed, those dates are reserved for the assignment.

The required cancellation notice is equal to the scheduled trip length. For example, a two-day trip requires two full days’ notice. If less notice is provided, any uncovered days are billed at $1,500 per day. Cancellation within one day of departure is subject to the full scheduled pilot fee. Expenses already incurred or otherwise nonrefundable also remain due.

Invoices and available receipts will be provided by email. Payment is due upon receipt.

Services are provided on an independent-contractor basis. Any exception to this policy must be agreed upon in writing.

Safety

Safety and legal compliance are always the priority. A flight or lesson may be delayed, modified, diverted, or discontinued when required by weather, fatigue, aircraft limitations, safety, or applicable regulations.

The client is responsible for providing an airworthy, properly maintained, appropriately equipped, and insured aircraft and for confirming compliance with applicable pilot-approval and insurance requirements.
